Unwanted Pubic Hair Removal Tips

March 29, 2013 3:31 pm / Leave a Comment / Terry

Visible Pubic Hair?

It has made it easier for many people to expose their nudity with much more confidence. This bold but fashionable display is increasingly being used by both men and women. It is interesting to note that even men who were traditionally reserved are taking up to this form of body art.

It leaves one feeling and looking sexier, more comfortable and lighter around the pubic area. People have been reported to have improved their sex lives as it leads to faster orgasms, much appreciation from their sexual partners. You look neat even in a bikini as it does not leave hair strands protruding from the sides.

Methods in use for pubic hair removal
Waxing is a procedure where a beautician applies warm wax all over your pubic area while rubbing it smoothly all over it. The beautician then places thin strips of cotton on top of the wax and allows it to stick on the cotton strips.

Once the wax holds on to the cotton strips, the beautician then pulls the cotton strips away pulling out pubic hair in the process. Any strands of hair that may have been left behind are then removed with the use of tweezers. The procedure is fast, lasting for approximately forty five minutes. It is painful to some with others feeling embarrassed at the thought of a stranger working on their private parts while being asked to change positions when naked.

It can cost you between twenty five to one hundred dollars depending on the location of the salon or the style of the shave. Waxing is usually done after several weeks because pubic hair will have started growing back causing a feeling of discomfort so it is important to know how long it takes for it to grow back before you get it. A good and popular example is the Brazilian wax procedure.

Shaving with a razor unlike waxing allows you to do it at home while controlling how much hair you want removed and the design of the shave. Its main drawback is that it has to be done more often because the pubic hair removed grows back very fast.

Hair removal creams are widely available for you to use in the removal of pubic hair. They work by disintegrating the pubic hair because of their alkaline nature. These offer you a fast pubic hair removal solution because you only need to apply them and wait for some minutes before you wipe the cream off together with the unwanted pubic hair. If you have coarse hair it is not very effective. Other side effects include feeling sore on the surface where you have applied the cream.

Sugaring is similar to waxing but with less pain involved. The steps followed in waxing are followed here too. The main difference is the product used. In this case lemon juice, sugar and water are used to form a paste or a gel which you then use for pubic hair removal.

Filiform wart on the eyelid

Warts are one of the most common ailments that people face today, and with all the various types of wart removal products out there, who’s to know which one will work, and which one will cause hard-earned money to be lost? In order to properly treat a wart, it might help to first understand what causes a wart in the first place.

Causes:

Warts are caused by any one of one numerous HPVs (human papillomaviruses). This particular virus causes a hard protein on the outermost layer of the skin to grow too fast. This protein is known as known as Keratin.
The wart virus can be passed on by intimate, or very close, skin to skin contact. additional ways the virus can spread is by biting or scratching the wart, kids sucking the wart, biting nails, and even shaving is a possibility.
A survey by the National Health Service recently found that, out of 1,000 children who had warts:

74 percent of them had common warts.
24 percent of them had verrucas.
3.5 percent of them had plane warts.
2 percent of them had filiform warts.

When to see a Physician:
There are different levels of wart related issues as well. Problems range from a simple wart on the finger, to much more serious issues. For the purposes of this article, only the common wart is discussed, as the more serious wart strains should be seen by a reputable Physician or General Practitioner as soon as possible.

Cures:

There aren’t any permanent cures for the common wart. Unless you pay a visit to your local General Practitioner, There is only removal by freezing, or you can try one of the over the counter remedies. A Doctor might choose laser surgery or any number of prescription strength wart removal products.

Prevention:

Instead of cures, there really are only preventative measures. Try to follow the tips:

Wear flip-flops in public showers, locker rooms, and pools.
Wash your hands frequently.
Carry hand sanitizer. Generic brands are cheap and work just as well as the name brands.

Use bandages on scrapes as soon as possible.

Most warts don’t have to be treated medically, and most will disappear on their own over time; however, if you are uncertain and question whether it could be something more serious, then go and pay a visit to your doctor.
A recent discovery in wart treatment suggests wrapping the wart in duct tape for five days, then removing the tape, soak in water, then brush against an emery board. Repeat this for six weeks. If it isn’t working, you’ll know after the first couple of weeks. Apparently, it’s just as effective as most over-the-counter products on the market.
Many people get embarrassed by a visible wart. Especially vulnerable are young kids and teens who might get teased or even bullied over such a thing. The truth is that warts are nothing to be ashamed of and absolutely no reason to get down on yourself. Just look at the problem and figure out a solution. Homemade Pore Minimizer

March 23, 2013 2:46 am / Leave a Comment / Terry

Homemade Pore Minimizer
Pores are normal part of the skin and exist as sweat glands, opening of hair follicles and oil gland. However, large pores are more likely to be clogged with bacteria and dirt which then causes the occurrence of acne, pimples and skin infections. In addition, clogged pores often cause the sebaceous gland to over-react, which in turn creates an oily skin. A pore minimizer is often used to resolve or fix these problems however commercial pore minimizers may contain harmful ingredients and are mostly expensive. In this article I am going to discuss some of the homemade pore minimizers and how they work.

What does a homemade pore minimizer work?
Most homemade pore minimizers works by removing bacteria, dirt and oil that clog your pores. Continuous application results to a cleaner pore which is crucial if the pore is to return to its normal size. They also shrink or minimize the size of the pore by causing inflammations/swelling of the pores creating an illusion of a smaller pore. That said however, if you pores are naturally larger it might not be possible for the homemade pore minimizer to reduce them any smaller then they usually are. It simply assists in maintaining the normal size of the pore.

Here are some tips on how to create some of the common homemade pore minimizers:

Lemon juice and Cucumber
You can decrease the size of your skin pores and maintain a smooth skin by making a paste of lemon and cucumber. This forms a caustic and astringent substance that is useful in the unclogging of the pores. To create it, you will need to add 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice to the mashed cucumber. After you’ve mixed it, apply the paste on your face while lying down and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes before washing your face with warm water. A regular application of this substance will eventually lead to a small and tight pore.

Pore Cleaning Strip
Pore cleaning strip is another homemade pore minimizer that helps in un-clogging blocked or clogged pores by removing oil and debris by using a film. You can develop one by mixing 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin with 11/2 tablespoon of milk. Afterwards put them on a microwave for approximately 10 minutes. You can then apply it on your skin using a cosmetic brush and leave it to dry for 15min. When you peel it of the oil and debris will be on the film.

Honey Masks
Honey is known not only for creating a smooth and light skin, but also in the removal of dirt’s and oil from the skin pores as well as in the reduction or tightening of the large pores. All you need to do is to apply it on the skin for 10-15 minutes then wash it with warm water. For those persons with oily skin, you will need to add 3 to 4 drops of lemon juice to the honey.

Butter milk and salt
This is another of the budget friendly, quick and easy homemade pore treatment that is made using salt and butter milk. There is no exact measurement for this, all you need to do is to mix 1-2 tbsp of milk with ΒΌ cup of butter milk then apply it on the large pores. Leave it to dry for 10 minutes before washing it off with warm water. The result is just amazing.
